One of the most marvellous, big-hearted, community-minded people I have encountered in years of involvement with people in a variety of ways, Mary Thomas, succumbed to this dreadful illness in 2017. We should not lose people like Mary to MND but we have and do. I'm walking in her memory and in support of life partner and collaborater, Geoff. I'm fundraising for MND South Australia because I know they deliver amazing care and support services to South Australians living with MND.
