On April 26, 2026, MNDSA Occupational Therapist Oliver Siney will take on the challenge of the TCS London Marathon to raise funds for the much needed care of South Australians living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Joining more than 53,000 participants, Ollie will run 42.195 km through the heart of London, passing iconic landmarks including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge.

"As an occupational therapist working for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia (MNDSA), I have the privilege of supporting people living with MND every day. It’s a devastating disease, but I’m constantly inspired by the strength and resilience of the clients and families that I work with. To honour the courage I see from my clients and their families each day, in 2026 I’ll be running my first ever marathon, the London Marathon, to try and raise $10,000 for MNDSA. I’m really excited to take on this challenge, and every dollar raised will go toward helping MNDSA continue their incredible work providing vital support and services for those living with MND. Any donations, big or small, will be much appreciated and will help to make such a big difference."
