Dr Peter Allcroft is running the London Marathon on the 26th April 2026 to raise awareness and funds for people living with MND in South Australia. Every year around 800 people in Australia are diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The cause is unknown. The incidence of MND is increasing. There is no cure. It is fatal. The average lifespan from diagnosis is 27 months. The MND Association provides care and support for people and their families living with MND. Peter co-founded the MND Clinic for South Australia in 2002 and continues to work in this clinic, and contributes to current clinical research. He has been an active Board Member for MND South Australia for 10 years. He is passionate about providing care for people with MND. Until there is a cure MNDSA will continue to care. Help Dr Peter Allcroft raise funds to provide the vital care people living with MND need.
